BIOGRAPHY
Beste Demir Keki is an Istanbul based attorney registered to Istanbul Bar since 2008. She specializes in challenging family and inheritance law matters, often involving international jurisdictional issues, substantial assets (including interests in business partnerships), custody rights over children, and high standard of living child and spousal support.

In the early stages of her career, Ms. Demir Keki worked at international law firms where she advised mostly corporate clients in their cross-border transactional and other legal matters across a wide range of sectors. She also holds an LL.M. degree from The University of Chicago Law School. Her studies in Chicago focused on Feminism and Law, Privacy Law, Art Law and the Entertainment Law. After returning from the USA, she joined a boutique litigation firm focusing on family law and media& entertainment law. When serving corporate clients, she acquired the skill of combining a solution-oriented approach with the ability to promote her clients’ interests in a professional and decided manner. This ability proved to be helpful especially in sensitive situations where children are involved.

Beste Demir Keki founded Demir Attorneys at Law in 2016. Her experience and success in and out of the courtroom have earned her the well-placed trust of many well-known clients who seek her advice and skills when making critical, emotional and financial transitions in their lives. She is known for taking her time to plan the process together with her clients, discussing the possible scenarios with them and later keeping them informed about the full picture.

She is giving lectures on Gender Equality as a visiting speaker at law faculties of reputable universities in Turkey. She is also giving a seven-week certificate program on Gender Equality and Law at Bilkent University.
